Fertilizer Calculator

The Fertilizer Calculator works out what to charge for a fertilizer application, based on the lawn’s size, your price per 1,000 square feet and your minimum charge.

  1. Click Calculators in the left menu, then Fertilizer Calculator.
  2. Enter how wide and how long the area is, in feet.
  3. Pick Your Minimum Charge ($0, or $15 to $100).
  4. Pick what you charge per 1,000 sq. ft. ($3 to $14).

LawnPro shows the Square Feet and You need to charge, rounded to the nearest dollar. The charge is the lawn’s size times your price per 1,000 sq. ft., plus your minimum charge. Choose $0 if you only want the per-1,000 price.

Example: a 50 ft × 100 ft lawn is 5,000 sq. ft. At $5 per 1,000 sq. ft. with a $30 minimum charge, the charge is $25 + $30 = $55.

For lawns that aren’t a simple rectangle, use the Satellite View Area Calculator to measure the property on a map.
